Who We Are
Schoolhouse Lane Capital (“SLC”) is a private investment company founded by Chris Brodman. We make direct investments in commercial real estate and privately held operating businesses. We also invest in private equity funds, private credit funds and commercial real estate. All of our investments are focused on the lower middle market. SLC invests its own capital in every deal, often alongside our network of investors. Our investment approach allows us to make decisions free from short-term pressure, bureaucratic mandates, and shifting cultural agendas that distort sound business judgment.
